DESCRIPTION 4 1/2" Dia. professionally made resin, nicely painted and finished on a solid mahogany plaque 8" X7" Condition good, two small mounting points where previous ID brass plaque was seated small scuffs on wood but nothing serious -wood is in very good condition. My best guess on the age is somewhere in the 70's-80's

All you need to do is to trot down to your local trophy shop and place a little 3 1/4X3/4" brass plaque on it with your name. The little mounting holes are already there! I know its cheating but believe or not people do it.
Why would you want to do this? Lets just say that you could have a heck of a lot of fun and leave it at that.

A note on condition. As a rule we do not repair minor scuffs and any wear and tear on military crests. In the case of scuffs- furniture polish works well or if you are more ambitious a fresh coat of varnish will do the trick. The reason we don't like to do it is that those little nicks and marks give the artifact character and help date it. (Also when we disclose an items condition we tend towards being conservative. )
